This one has been sitting around unfinished for months . The lighting and initial sketch was bugging me so I didn't want to dwell on it anymore and finished it off quickly.
Kinda partial in liking it for that reason XD
Anyway. Yukimura and Joe. Some sort of sunset idea- without the scars, could you tell which is which?
Wow! You are fantastic with using various bright colors and mixing them to create vivid yet believable scenes... for instance, all the colors in that fur! I've not quite managed anything like that yet! The fur feels very dense and real, and the edges you've created in the clouds are beautiful and surreal.
The only thing that I could manage as far as critiques are concerned is the head in profile. It looks a bit strange, especially the roundness in the forehead. Then again, I'm not familiar with the characters, silly me, this comment could quite possibly be useless... (oh what, do I think I can just wander around throwing critiques now, wtf? )
Regardless, I still love this piece A LOT and I am going to fave it. Right... NOW!
Just recently, I was looking through the sketchbooks of my pallanophs and assorted animals/human portraits that I had lying around from the last few years. Oh God, how awful... for a while everything I drew looked horse-faced, and the year or so after that, everything grew rounded foreheads and small noses/muzzles. Talk about one screwy evolution! In hindsight, I find it quite amusing...
Unfortunately, it never got pointed out to me properly... at least, not that I can remember! And I completely agree... I can't properly see half of the things I create. Which is why I ask for any and all critique!
Thank you! I didn't see the anime/manga section before. These catogories are confusing me. It's still under books/novels but now atleast in the anime/manga one too

I agree! His head actually scares me, haha. He looks sort of overly cartoony to me or something
Lol, I appreciate any critique you have to offer! It's hard to see things in your own art sometimes
